After hadn't heard from Evie Bikes for two weeks I wrote them. Suddenly something happened and I had one package delivered in front of my house after two days. The disappointment was great, however, when I discovered that the bike was badly scratched, so that the paint had been scratched off in several places. In addition, the shipment's second package of luggage carrier had not been delivered. I had to contact Evie Bike again to get the rest sent. I had previously asked if I could cancel/return my purchase, as the bike had in the meantime been marked down a lot from what I had paid, and the bike had not yet been shipped. There is no way it can be done. The table catches! On the other hand, I could have a bucket of paint sent to me and paint the bike myself... Upon closer inspection, the bike was not just scratched, but the entire front fork was smashed, so that the aluminum was compressed, dented and cracked. It is therefore impossible to mount the front wheel. I had to contact Evie Bike again. This time they offered to collect the bike - which I am trying to get back in its box :) - and that they would send me a replacement bike. Unfortunately, I can't review how the bike is to ride, since a month after I bought it, I still only have a useless bike sitting in my hallway. But I can tell the rest of you that I am not impressed with the build quality. It seems unreasonably cheap and not particularly well thought out. In addition to the problems with my specific bike, try looking at the bottom of the bike where the entire frame is open with access to the battery and where wires stick out towards the asphalt. I cannot recommend you to buy an Evie Bike, as the quality of the bike, the buying experience and the rigid return policy are poor. Unfortunately, I cannot comment on how it is to ride, as I have never tried it yet.
